Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how StudioBox (“StudioBox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a product operated by Ituman Global (OPC) Private Limited, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
StudioBox is designed for professional event photography studios and their teams. The Services may process information about studio staff, studio customers, events, schedules, media (including photos and videos), galleries, delivery workflows, and related business records such as payment status or invoicing metadata, depending on how your organization uses the platform.
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to visitors of our marketing website, users who create or access a StudioBox account, and individuals whose information is submitted to the Services by a studio (for example, end clients whose contact details or gallery access are managed through StudioBox). If you interact with StudioBox only because a studio invited you (for example, to view a gallery), that studio is primarily responsible for how your information is collected and used; we process it on their behalf as described here and in any agreement with that studio.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide directly
- Account and profile: name, email address, organization or studio name, and similar identifiers when you register, sign in, or update your profile.
- Authentication: if you sign in with a third party such as Google, we receive certain information from that provider as permitted by your settings and their terms (for example, basic profile details and tokens needed to maintain your session).
- Studio and client records: information your organization enters into the Services, such as customer or event contacts, scheduling details, notes, and business metadata associated with shoots or deliveries.
- Media and galleries: files, previews, folder structures, captions, favorites or shortlists, download activity where enabled, and related technical metadata (for example, file names, sizes, or timestamps).
- Payments and billing context: information your organization records in StudioBox regarding invoices, payment status, or amounts, and—where payment features are used—information necessary to process or reconcile transactions with payment partners.
- Support: messages, attachments, or diagnostics you send when you contact us for help.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser or app version, general location derived from IP (such as region or city where available), pages or screens viewed, timestamps, and similar logs used for security, reliability, and product improvement.
- Cookies: we and our service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and protect against abuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings where applicable.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and protect the security and integrity of the platform;
- Communicate with you about the Services, including service announcements, security notices, and support responses;
- Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to understand product performance and plan improvements;
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
5. Legal bases and consent
Where required by law, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as performing our contract with you or your organization, our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service (balanced against your rights), your consent when we ask for it, or compliance with legal obligations. If we rely on consent for a specific processing activity, you may withdraw consent without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: with vendors who host data, deliver email or notifications, run analytics, provide authentication or security tools, or otherwise help us operate the Services, subject to confidentiality and processing obligations.
- Your organization: account administrators and authorized users at your studio may access information submitted under that account according to your internal policies and product permissions.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of StudioBox, our users, or the public.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may depend on the type of data and whether your account is active. After closure of an account, we may retain certain records for a limited period where required or permitted by law, then delete or de-identify them in line with our internal schedules.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure; we encourage studios to use strong passwords, limit access within their teams, and follow good security practices when handling client media and personal data.
9. International processing
We may process and store information in India and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. When information is transferred across borders, we take steps consistent with applicable law to ensure appropriate protection.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Studios that use StudioBox for client data should route individual requests from their customers where appropriate. To exercise rights related to information we hold as a controller, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required for online services in your jurisdiction. If you believe we have collected information from a child inappropriately, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Third-party sites
Our websites or product may contain links to third-party websites or integrations. This policy does not apply to those services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by email or an in-product message).
